As Artistic Director, Marina Paulenka led a transformative phase in the development of Unseen, overseeing artistic and institutional strategy across the Unseen Foundation and its three affiliated entities. She expanded the platform’s international scope by introducing galleries and artists from underrepresented regions such as Ghana, Iran and Turkey.
She curated exhibitions, including a solo show by Tabita Rezaire, and co-developed the Living Room talk series with institutions including the V&A Museum and LagosPhoto. As Editor-in-Chief of Unseen Magazine and the digital platform, she guided an editorial direction focused on emerging voices and experimental practices.
